elana nazzaro’s illustrations are delightful. not only is her website, french toast girl filled with wonderful imagery and charming entries, the meaning of the name is insightful. life, like french toast, is comprised of simple ingredients, when combined make up a marvelous concoction we often take for granted. she’s right, we need to lap up the sweetness of life. with this thought in mind, i start my weekend.

i am incredibly drawn to seb lester – type designer and typographic illustrator, whose passion for letterforms is truly evident. lester produces limited edition prints and original canvases, and i’m thinking one of his pieces could be a nice companion for my keep calm and carry on print. i’m posting a few of my favorites, but to see the range of his work, check out his website and an interview at i love typogrophy.

love these illustrations by ben the illustrator. to find wallpaper of the same vein, go here, here and here.
